Raffy & Ezrha
Our Story
It was in 2012 when Raffy and Ezrha started working in the same school. Ezrha worked a few months earlier than Raffy and was into teaching, while Raffy is in the corporate social responsibility department of the school. Unknown to both of them, they were involved with few projects of the school, but never saw each other until 2014, when Ezrha took a teaching load for NSTP as a facilitator. Raffy was the coordinator for NSTP back then, and in charge with training the facilitators.
The two of them grew close, and after a year, Raffy decided to court her. It wasn’t the right season for the both of them, so they decided to have some distance.
For some funny reasons, no matter how they put distance between them, they seem to always find a way back to each other. They continued to share awkward moments whenever they are involved with community projects 
and after a couple of years, they started reconnecting again. This time, everything seemed sure. They both kept that “spark” between them. Raffy and Ezrha made it official, and started their journey as a couple after months of courtship.
Fast forward to nearly three years into their relationship, Raffy surprised Ezrha on her birthday with the most perfect gift she could ask for: his promise of everlasting love. ❤️
Soulmates
Ezrha believes that they are soulmates. After several serendipitous moments, here they are, finally getting married! There is another story worth telling.
When Ezrha was still in Kindergarten, there’s a big house that can be seen from the playground of her school. As a child who dreams about princesses and castles, she wondered what could be inside that big house. Little did she know that same house is owned by Raffy’s grandparents. She hasn’t visited that house yet, but soon she will!
Oh and here’s a fun fact- Raffy and Ezrha’s Moms were classmates back in pre-school. What a total coincidence, right?
They both believe that they are truly made for each other.

The Proposal
Both of them knew where they are heading. More than a year into their relationship, they have started talking about their future. They also started investing in their future home. It’s just the “right timing” of when will Raffy ever pop the question, that kept Ezrha wondering until her birthday.
Though certain, Ezrha kept telling Raffy to seek her father’s approval first before proposing. Her birthday was nearing, and it was a busy week for both of them; they just started with a new job. Ezrha brushed off the idea (though still hoping) that he’d be proposing during her birthday as there could be no way that he was able to talk to her father during that week or any week before her birthday.
Unknown to her, Raffy did ask for her hand in marriage by formally seeking her father’s approval together with Ezrha’s youngest sister only a few days before her birthday. It was indeed a swift move from Raffy, taking the advantage of having an excuse of running some errands on that day.
After several mishaps days before the day (Ezrha’s father cannot keep a secret for long), during her birthday, Raffy asked her to have a stroll outside, and eventually eat dinner outside (though this is actually a car date because of the pandemic). He also asked her to bring along something that she can use as a blindfold. In Ezrha’s thoughts, this could be it! But she kept calm and not too assuming.
It started to rain that day. Well, most of the time, it always rains during her birthday. Luckily, Raffy has a few plans up his sleeve. They parked in the covered parking of a nearby mall, and waited for the rain to stop a little. This is when the surprise began. He asked Ezrha if she’s ready to put on her blindfold- it was her girl scout’s scarf back in high school. Raffy began to drive around. It was hard for Ezrha to figure out where they’re heading. Even though she tried to memorize the twists and turns in the road, Raffy was smarter (haha).
After almost 20 minutes of drive, they finally stopped and parked somewhere. Raffy started playing soft music in the background. Is this it? He told her to wait a little as he is fixing some things in his trunk. He went in and drove a little more, finding the perfect spot. When he stopped and went outside, he asked her, “Are you ready to take off your blindfold?” She sat upright, and took her blindfold. And there he is, kneeling outside of the car, with an umbrella in his right hand, and the ring in the left. It was a few seconds before she noticed the writings on the screen saying “Will you marry me?” It was a resounding YES! with tears in her eyes.
And the journey of their best season yet, begins.

Soon, there will no more waiting, because we will always be together to continue sharing endless loving and joyful moments with each other and to those around.

Bata pa lang si Bibong as what we call him, mabait yan esp. with Doc Judy (Tita Ilou telling abt the story of closing the faucet while both kids where taking a bath at age 3 to 5).
Raff is brave too, remembering finding him between Ceris 1 and 2 going to our place – alone when he was about 2 to 3 years old!!
